• Each team consists of four members.

• Topics will be provided in advance (at least 24 hours before the event).
• Topics will be a mix of current affairs, social issues, technology, and education.
• The debate format will be Oxford Style (or another specified format).
• Each debate will have one team proposing (affirmative) and one team opposing (negative) the motion.
• Each speaker is allowed 5 minutes for their main speech.
• After the main speeches, there will be a rebuttal round where each speaker has 2 minutes.
• A warning bell will ring at the 4-minute mark during the main speech and at the 1.5-minute mark during the rebuttal.
• Each round is an elimination round.
• Final Remaining team will be the winner

Timings of the event

• The event should start at 10am
• All Team members are present within 9.45am
• Team doesn't present within time then the team gets disqualified

Award and Recognition

• Best Team: Based on total score from judges.
• Best Speaker: Based on individual performance across all rounds.
• Best Rebuttal: Awarded to the speaker with the most effective rebuttal.
