STRIKE AND POCKET

Event Description

Team size: 2 Members per team OR Individual Participant.

Registration Fees: 150/- (For 2 Members), 60/-(For Individual Participant).

RULES AND REGULATIONS

• The first player is decided by a coin toss or mutual agreement.
• The striker must be placed on the base line at either end of the board and struck with a flick of the finger to hit and pocket the carrom pieces.
• Each player chooses a colour (black or white). The aim is to pocket all pieces of your colour before the opponent.
• The queen must pocket at the last.
• After pocketing the queen, the player must pocket last one of their own piece in the subsequent shot to 'cover' the queen. If the player fails to cover the queen, the queen is returned to the centre of the board.
• The game cannot end until the queen is pocketed and covered. The player who pockets all their pieces first wins, provided they have also pocketed and covered the queen.
